This page explains how RunFaster (the app and runfaster.takutakutaku.com, the "Service") handles your information.

1. What we do not collect

No ads, tracking, analytics, or sale of location data. We never send your GPS route (the sequence of locations) or precise location to our server. We do not receive your email address (even if Apple or Google shares it at sign-in, we do not store it). We do not send heart rate or other Apple Health data to our server.

2. What we store on our server

• Account: the per-user identifier issued by Apple or Google, registration date and time, display name, chosen avatar, and time zone offset
• Run summaries: start time, distance, duration, indoor/outdoor, source (GPS, timer, Apple Health, etc.), and run days (dates)
• Fair-play summaries: step count, active seconds, seconds classified as vehicle, number of GPS samples, and similar values (no locations)
• XP, earned outfits and characters, league groups and rankings, and which celebrations you have seen
• Friend, block and report relationships
• Temporary abuse-prevention data (rate limits based on your IP address, deleted automatically after a short time)

3. What stays on your device

Location (GPS distance and route), motion (steps and activity type) and reading workouts from Apple Health are processed on your device. With your permission, runs you record in RunFaster are saved to Apple Health (you can turn this off in Settings).

4. Why we use it

Only to record and confirm run days, XP and weekly goals, to run the league and friend features, to prevent cheating, and to answer your questions.

5. What other people can see

In the league and among friends: your display name, avatar and weekly totals. If you choose to share a run with friends, they can see its summary (date, distance, time, pace).

6. Service providers

Our server runs on Cloudflare (United States). Sign-in uses Apple and Google. We do not provide or sell personal information to anyone else, except as required by law.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your data until you delete your account. You can delete it in the app under You → Account & league; this deletes your account and related data from our server. If you can't delete it in the app, contact us.

8. Age

If you are under 13, use the Service only with your parent's or guardian's consent.

9. Changes

We will announce changes on this page and in the app.
